MADBALL Cancel Two Dates, Resume Touring
September 21, 2005The MADBALL headlining tour had to cancel two dates (Sept. 19 in Portland and Sept. 20 in San Francisco) but will resume the remainder of the tour on Sept. 21 at the Los Angeles date. Due to circumstances beyond the band's control, they were not able to play the last two dates but promise they will continue and finish the tour in true hardcore fashion. Vocalist Freddy Cricien comments, "We're sorry to the fans in Portland and San Francisco but we will come back again soon. The tour has been great, we have seen a lot of new faces and a lot of familiar one's in each city and we look forward to playing again."
The tour began two weeks ago on the East Coast and has sold out or played to capacity crowds every night. MADBALL recently released their newest and first album for Ferret Records, "Legacy". The album had the highest-selling debut of any MADBALL album and the band has already appeared on recent episodes of MTV2's "Headbangers Ball", Fuse TV's "Metal Asylum" as well as being featured in Decibel, Revolver and Metal Maniacs. Following this tour, the band will embark on a full European run with SWORN ENEMY.
